March 28, 2026 – ERC Show Clinic & Meeting
Location: ERC
Time: 11am – 3pm, meeting @ 4pm

Calling all ERC members! Join us for a great opportunity to prep and practice for the upcoming show season! It’s for members only!
Dana Williams will coach participants for Halter; Vada Taylor will coach for Western; Angela Fowler will coach for English. The clinic will be followed by our regular ERC meeting at 4pm. Please bring your lunch, snacks and beverages.
April 18, 2026 – ERC Workday & Meeting
Location: ERC
Time: 10am – 4pm, meeting @ 4pm
Members… drop in any time to get some volunteer hours in! We’ll be having a workday at the ERC show grounds followed by our regular ERC meeting. Please bring your lunch, snacks and beverages. Also work gloves, bug spray, hat, sunglasses… and whatever else you may need.
May 2, 2026 – Mills River Day Show
Location: North River Farms
Judges: TBA
ERC will again have a club tent – 9:00am set-up. Please stay tuned… we will need volunteers to help at this event. Be sure to come with cash (cell reception can be spotty!)… there will be food trucks and vendors at Mills River Day.
May 16, 2026 – Spring Obstacle Course & Meeting
Location: ERC
Time: 11am – 4pm, meeting @ 4pm
Come out and have some fun at our spring obstacle challenge! Drop in any time. A limited number of horses will be allowed in the arena at one time in 30-minute intervals. Obstacles will also be available outside the arena. Please bring lunch, snacks and beverages. ERC Meeting to follow at 4:00pm. Volunteers will be needed to design obstacles and set-up/tear down.
June 6, 2026 – ERC Show

Join us for our Spring Show! Volunteers will be needed for show grounds prep (Thursday and/or Friday), as well as the day of the show.
July 18, 2026 – ERC Play Day – Weenie/Marshmallow Roast & Meeting
Location: ERC
Time: Afternoon riding, meeting @ 5pm
Bring your horses and have a late-day or early evening ride. We’ll relax and have a hot dog supper and roast marshmallows. We’ll plan for supper to start at 5pm, but ride before or after. Just come relax and hang out! The club will provide hot dogs, buns and marshmallows. Everyone bring your own beverages and a side dish or dessert to share. Everyone is welcome… horse or no horse.
August 15, 2026 – Horseless Horse-Themed Game Night & Meeting

Time: 5pm
Join us for a summertime horse-themed game night. NO real horses required! Stay tuned for more info!
September 26, 2026 – AppleFest Obstacle Challenge & Meeting
Location: ERC
Time: 11am – 4pm, meeting @ 4pm
What horse doesn’t love apples? Enjoy this time of the year at our fun obstacle challenge (including bobbing for apples!)! Drop in any time. A limited number of horses will be allowed in the arena at one time in 30-minute intervals. Obstacles will also be available outside the arena. Please bring lunch, snacks and favorite beverages. We’ll supply apple pie, apple fritters and cider! ERC Meeting to follow at 4pm. Volunteers will be needed to design obstacles and set-up/tear down.
October 3, 2026 – 60th Anniversary ERC Show

We’re looking forward to doing this again! We’ll have a food sign-up form. Come on out for a tremendous feast and fellowship!
Open Shows
These shows are open to any equestrians in the community & are great for beginner riders and kids! We have english, western, gaited, trail, lead line, costume, & game classes. Come picnic, socialize, & enjoy a full day!
Spectator Admission: $5 Adults, Children Under 12 FREE, 1 person per horse FREE.
Absolutely NO DOGS or ALCOHOL on show grounds.
Rider Info: Class list subject to change until the month of show. Properly fitted helmets are REQUIRED by any rider under 18 in english AND western tack. Rules & class order on program. No refunds given for classes scratched on the day of the show. Changes must be made at least 3 classes ahead.
